1. Import and configure your Gang Sheet product

Quick Sheets currently supports standard Gang Sheet and UV Gang Sheet products. Both appear as Gang Sheet in Quick Sheets. Import only products customers need to customize in Builder.

Gang Upload, Transfer by Size, and Images to Sheet are coming soon.

  1. In Quick Sheets, open Products.
  2. Select Import Products, choose the product customers will use to build a gang sheet, and import it.
  3. In Product configuration, update the product's sizes, prices, and needed product settings, then save.

If the Gang Sheet product already appears under Products, select Edit/configure and continue with its existing configuration instead of importing it again. See Configure a product for size, price, and product-setting guidance.

2. Review General settings

In Quick Sheets, open General.

  1. Under Store identity, optionally upload a PNG Store logo. A transparent background works best.
  2. Review the Customer agreement and keep it clear and short. Customers see it beside the required checkbox during final review.
  3. Select Save.

The Store logo appears while Quick Sheets opens. To add it to generated print files, also enable Print shop logo in that product's settings.

3. Select the theme in Setup

From Quick Sheets in Shopify admin, select Setup.

If you have more than one theme, select the theme you want to configure. The page identifies live, development, and draft themes.

When you select or publish a different theme, select that theme in Setup and repeat its Theme App Embed and Theme App Block checks. Theme setup does not carry over automatically.

4. Enable the Theme App Embed

The Theme App Embed enables Quick Sheets in the selected theme. The Theme App Block adds the visible Builder button to the product's template. Both are required.

Under Theme app embed:

  1. Select Activate App Embed.
  2. In Shopify's Theme Editor, turn on Quick Sheets.
  3. Save the theme.
  4. Return to Quick Sheets and refresh the Setup page.

The Theme App Embed status should now show Pass, and the section should show Ready.

5. Add Quick Sheets to the product template

In the Products section, find the product you want to set up.

  1. Under Theme App Block, select Add App Block.
  2. Shopify's Theme Editor opens with the Quick Sheets block already added.
  3. Reposition the block near the purchase buttons.
  4. Save the theme.

6. Confirm the setup is ready

Return to Setup and refresh the page.

Quick Sheets is ready only when all three checks show Pass: Theme App Embed, Theme App Block on the template assigned to that product in the selected theme, and Product configuration.

For another Gang Sheet product, import and configure it, then add the block to that product's assigned template if it still shows Needs setup.

Finally, select View storefront for the product. Confirm that the Quick Sheets block is visible and positioned near the product's purchase controls.

If a product still needs setup

  • Theme App Embed is not enabled: select Activate App Embed, turn on Quick Sheets, save the theme, and refresh Setup.
  • Theme App Block is missing: select Add App Block, place it near the purchase buttons, and save the theme.
  • The block is added but hidden or not showing: select Manage App Block, make the block visible, check its position, and save.
  • The Theme Editor tab is blank: reload that tab. If it still does not open correctly, open the Theme Editor from Shopify admin and add the block there.
  • Product configuration is incomplete: select Manage product, finish the required settings, and save.
  • The product uses a different or unavailable template: select the correct product template in Shopify, then return to Setup.
  • Quick Sheets could not verify the theme or template: confirm that the correct theme is selected, then refresh Setup. Follow the specific message shown if the status remains unknown.

Vintage themes

Some vintage themes do not support app blocks. When Quick Sheets identifies one, follow the guided or manual instructions shown on the Setup page. Use the generated snippets and file names shown there instead of copying code from a general guide.
